Nothing More to Say

‘Nothing More to Say ‘ is a bamboo inspired structure.   I chose bamboo because it is a persistent and sometimes invasive plant. Bamboo is a relentless ambassador of vegetative life. This plant year after year produces beautiful elongated leaves and drops those leaves gently on the ground. For me these unfurled leaves are messages that fall at our feet and accumulate in unnoticed piles. The bamboo persists in sending out her messages to us until she ultimately has nothing more to say.   Here she stands majestically just being and even in her stillness the translucent yellow leaves offer a message of hope.
