“Blustery Day” captures my experiences with the North Wind rushing down the marshes and up the hill to my studio door. The wind gusts and the marsh plants respond tossing back and forth. This image brings back delightful childhood memories of Winnie the Pooh and Piglet walking to Owl’s house on a “Blusterous Day”.  Unique to this work is a departure from the horizontal Earth crust made with clay. Here I use the clay to create a hill for the wind to sweep up and playfully bend the plant forms.
